The new edition to the 3W class is......
Mr. Bennett
The past two weeks teaching in 3W have been a blast. I feel like I have been a part of the 3W team for much longer than I have. I have had the pleasure of meeting a few of the 3W parents during reading groups, after school, in the SUA pick up area and even now at camp. However I thought I would give myself a little introduction with a personal question and answer segment here on the class Weebly site.
Teaching history:
I have previously taught at Suncoast Christian College from 2009 to April 2013. During those years I taught years 4, 5 and 6. I am passionate about Christian Education and creating a happy learning environment where exciting education can be fostered.
About me:
In April last year my wife and I packed up our house and left our jobs to travel the world for a year. We felt God was calling us to volunteer overseas, and committed to a few short- term positions while away, however nothing became permanent so we continued our adventure. We travelled through India, Europe, Central and South –America before returning home.
Qualification:
Bachelor of Education Primary
University:
Christian Heritage College, Brisbane
Age:
29
Married:
2008
Home Town:
Caloundra
Hobbies:
Surfing, Sport, Cultures, Food, Coffee, Reading
